What Wildwood Land Management Does
Wildwood Land Management is a professional land management company serving rural acreage owners across North and East Texas. We handle the physical maintenance and clearing work that keeps rural acreage functional, accessible, and in productive condition: acreage mowing and brush hogging, land cleanup and brush clearing, and driveway restoration and road repair.

Ellis County south of Dallas serves the Waxahachie, Ennis, and Midlothian rural acreage market. Active cedar and mesquite pressure on Blackland clay, a strong equestrian and hobby farm community, and some of the most actively transacted rural land in North Texas.

How We Work
Property Walk Before Every Quote
We do not quote land management work by phone, by aerial imagery, or by acreage number alone. Every quote we provide follows a property walk by one of our operators who has assessed the actual vegetation conditions, terrain, access, and any specific conditions that affect the scope and cost of the work.
This is not a procedural requirement we impose on customers. It is the only way to provide a quote that reflects what the work actually involves on a specific property. The variables that most affect land clearing and brush hogging cost, vegetation density, stem diameter, terrain, and access conditions, are not visible without being on the ground.
Flat-Rate Written Quotes
Every quote we provide is flat-rate, meaning the price does not change when the equipment arrives and the actual conditions are encountered. The property walk is specifically designed to reveal the conditions that affect cost before the quote is provided, so the quoted price reflects actual scope rather than assumed scope.
Hourly billing on land clearing and brush hogging transfers the risk of conditions being worse than expected from the contractor to the landowner. We carry that risk on every flat-rate job because we assessed the conditions before pricing it.
Independent Operation With Documentation
A significant portion of our clients are absentee or remotely-based landowners who are not present when work is performed on their property. We coordinate access in advance, work independently on the scheduled date, and provide before-and-after photo documentation after every visit. The landowner receives a complete photographic record of the property condition when we arrived and what it looked like when we finished.
If something unexpected comes up during a job, a fence section in worse condition than visible before clearing, a section of the property with different vegetation than the rest, an access condition that affects equipment staging, we communicate that directly and in advance of making any decisions that affect scope.
